For 2018, I’ve listened to your feedback and I’m taking smaller groups (6-8) for a more personalized experience. I’m also offering more birding safaris, as it’s something many people have been asking about. I’m also offering photo tours, including another photo cruise to Alaska!
My philosophy is simple: photography is a craft. I believe you learn the most when you immerse yourself in the complete workflow of photography (visualization/capture/processing) for more than just a morning or afternoon.
On my tours and safaris, we focus on more than just taking pictures. It’s about the experience itself. I hope you’ll find the time to join me in the field soon!
I’m pleased to announce a new small-group instructional photo safari to southern California for coastal birding! This event is perfect for beginners to intermediate (and up) photographers looking to capture flight shots of the numerous shorebirds along the San Diego coast.
When: March 4-8, 2018 Where: San Diego (La Jolla), California
Early-bird discount: Save $100 when you reserve your seat before Dec. 15, 2017.
My third annual Rocky Mountain Wildflower photo safari will be held July 9-12 in Crested Butte, Colorado. I have two seats available for photographers who wish to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Rockies while photographing the colorful wildflower blooms there. I’ve designed this safari to be low-impact. No hiking or off-roading is required. We will focus our efforts on creative close-up/macro techniques, as well as other creative ways of capturing Colorado’s summer colors.
Booking deadline is June 24th, so reserve your seat soon!
