"I recently read the book while on a photo trip and must say that Jason has done a great job of covering all aspects of the Nikon 1 camera system. Jason's writing style is easy to understand and explains things in simple english. One of the things I applaud him for is peppering the book with his specific camera settings for getting the most out of the camera. He goes beyond just telling you what to do by taking it a step further and telling you why."-- Mike Hagen, Out There Images (Read Mike's Full Review Here)
"Having recently purchased the Nikon V1 System I was anxious to go beyond the included manual. Jason's ebook was the perfect solution. Anyone wanting to get clarification of the Nikon manual and/or go beyond this ebook is for you."-- J. Davis
"I have been reading your excellent guide to the Nikon 1 cameras. I recently purchased a V1 for vacations and find [your guide] to be much more useful than the manual."-- D. Piepgras

Q: Why should I purchase an eBook?  Do you offer a print (hardcopy) version?

A: The eBook format is very flexible. It allows you to not only view the book on your computer, but also to print a copy for personal use. You can print the entire Guide, or just the pages you want to reference.  Because the Guide is in eBook format, I can deliver it to you electronically in less than an hour, without any fees for shipping.  In addition, the eBook format is interactive; you can click Table of Contents or Index entries and be taken to the the exact page in the book where that reference is found.  I've also embedded URLs to resource websites in the eBook; you can't do that in a printed book.

Q: What software is required to view your eBooks?

A: You'll need a ZIP utility to extract the downloaded files, and the eBook PDF file is viewable on most PDF readers, although Adobe Reader 7.0 or later is preferred for maximum functionality. Please note that your computer may default to other PDF viewer software; if you get an error please check to see that you're using Adobe Reader.

Q: Can I view this book on my iPad?

A: The eBook is viewable on the iPad with iBooks; however, I cannot guarantee the functionality of bookmarks and other hyperlinks. I recommend the GoodReader PDF viewer for best results.  You will need to download the book to your computer (Mac or PC) first and then transfer the PDF to your iPad using iTunes.

I have not tested this book on other e-Readers at this time; your reader will need to support PDF file viewing.

Q: Is The Photographer's Guide to the Nikon 1 V1/J1 available on CD-ROM?

A: Not yet. Check back soon for details.

Q: Can I make a printed copy of The Photographer's Guide to the Nikon 1 V1/J1?

A: Absolutely. Registered owners are permitted to print a copy for personal use. Refer to the copyright page in the book for more details.

How can I purchase The Photographer's Guide to the Nikon 1 V1/J1?

A: Simply go to the Luminesence of Nature Press online store, and you can order the Guide right away!

Q: I've ordered the Guide from your online store. Where is my download code?

A: You should be directed to a download link in your browser immediately after purchasing the Guide.  You will also receive an email with the link to the secure download. For best results, I recommend downloading the eBook file with Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari.

Q: I was unable to download the eBook, and now I get an error message saying my download has expired. What should I do?

A: I have discovered a security issue with Microsoft IE8 and later that can sometimes lead to download timeouts. Contact support(at)luminescenphoto.com and I'll reset your download link. For best results, I recommend using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari to download your content.

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: For downloadable products, all sales are final. Once you receive a download code, you own the eBook.  If you have problems with your download, contact me and I'll work with you to resolve any issues.
