We had a good thread going over on Google+ today about variants of an image I made of Oregon’s Multnomah Falls. We were comparing a sharp, realistic version against a diffused version. Two versions and lots of opinions!
Needless to say, here’s a “time-lapse” video of the steps that led to the final image, just so you can see how much an image can be improved upon if you shoot RAW and use the right tools. I combined a base conversion in Capture NX2 with Nik’s Color Efex Pro 4 in Photoshop to get the final image.
Learn more about using Color Efex Pro in layers in my new training video, Layers of Creativity!
So beautiful Jason. Love the power of no words and time lapse.
RAW = Recover All Well, with the right tools and a good teacher, you.
